Delwin D. Renfroe of Fairview, Texas passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 25, 2014 surrounded by family. Del was born January 27, 1939 in New Home, Texas and grew up in Lubbock, Texas. He attended public school and graduated salutatorian from Monterey High School. Del received his BBA from Texas Tech University. He held his CPA license for fifty years. Following college graduation, Del moved to Richardson, Texas to work for Price Waterhouse. He later worked as President of U.S. Brass and then was proud to be president and owner of Lee Brass. Del sold Lee Brass in the 90’s to allow him to enjoy early retirement.

At the time of his passing, Del was a resident of Heritage Ranch where he enjoyed playing tennis and socializing with friends. He enjoyed collecting art, was a man of many “gadgets” and had a passion for exotic cars.

Del lived a full life filled with family and friends. He enjoyed caring and providing for others and doted on his two Havanese dogs, Murphy and Darby.

Del was a husband, father, grandfather and great-grand father. He is survived by his wife Dreama Renfroe; son Joe Renfroe and wife Danna of Frisco; daughter Jan Walker of Austin; Gerard Ruggiere and wife Jackie of Plano; his stepchildren Scott Pennington and wife Sherry of Wylie and Greta Lyons of Wylie.

Del enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grand children; Michael and Anthony Ruggiere, Nicholas Stoops, Jenna Renfroe, Hayden Sprawls, David Walker, Drew and Slade Pennington, Michael Lyons and wife Amy and their two children Payton and Emma.

Del was preceded in death by daughter Jill Ruggiere; parents Dietrich Renfroe, Melvin and Irene Darby and sister Geniece Puckett.

A private family graveside service will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to The Warrior and Family Support Center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas or a charity of your choice.
