Delores R. Ortega of Celina, Texas, lost her battle with diabetes on August 29, 2013 at the age of 53. She was born on July 5, 1960 in McKinney, Texas to Clemente Jr. and Luciana (Rodriguez) Ortega. Delores grew up in Frisco, Texas and was a graduate of Frisco High School class of 1978. She worked for the Little Elm Independent School District for a number of years. Delores was a member of the Roman Catholic Faith.
She is survived by her husband, Al Gutierrez of Celina, Texas; brothers, Clemente Ortega and wife, Becky of Little Elm, Texas, Teofilo Ortega and wife, Minta of Frisco, Texas, Raul Ortega and wife, Donna of McKinney, Texas, Robert Ortega of Irving, Texas; sister, Carlota Jeffrey and husband, Erik of Celina, Texas; many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Armando and Eduardo Ortega.
The family will receive friends at a Visitation to be held from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas.
