Dellie Mae Rodgers, age 90, of Tom Bean, Texas, died Friday May 11, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman, Texas. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Earnheart Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Officiating the service will be Horace Groff and Rev. John Hall. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Whitewright, Texas. Pallbearers will be Steve White, Elmer Houston, Richard White, David Rodgers, Will Derichsweiler, Andy Derichsweiler. A visitation will be held Monday, May 14, 2007 from 7-8pm at Earnheart Funeral Home in Whitewright, Texas. Dellie Rodgers was born August 28, 1916 at Grayson County, Texas to Albert Elmer Houston and Lydia Cherry Houston. She married Andrew Basil “Bab” Rodgers on July 29, 1931 in Madill, Oklahoma. She was a retired cook from the Tom Bean Public Schools and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tom Bean. She is survived by daughters, Marie Barlow of Succasunna, New Jersey; Jackie Roberts and husband Michael of Arlington; grandchildren, Andrea Barlow of Succasunna, New Jersey; Debra Derichsweiler and husband, John of Denison; step-grandchildren, Kathy Perantie and husband, Mark of Richardson; Sara Galley and husband, Bob of The Woodlands; great-grandchildren, Andy Derichsweiler and wife, Tiffany of Mesquite; Will Derichsweiler of Sherman; great-great-grandchildren, Loegan Derichsweiler of Iowa, Phoenix Derichsweiler of Mesquite, Loryn and Jack Derichsweiler of Sherman; brother, Billy White of Tom Bean; sister, Marietta Keller of Tom Bean; sister-in-law, Nellie White of Tom Bean; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, husband, sister, Dorothy White Bush; brothers, Elmer Houston, Preston White, Daniel White, Alvin White, Robert White.
