Delbert Julius Huck, age 69, of McKinney, Texas, passed away May 3, 2009 in McKinney. Del was born July 15, 1939 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, to Julius Joseph and Evelyn A. (Zerwig) Huck. Del grew up in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri where he attended school at Valle High. He married Norma Dean Burrell on March 5, 1962 at the Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, Nebraska. Del was employed with Joseph T. Ryerson and Son Steel Company for thirty-five years. After retiring, he continued to work for Ryerson. Del enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Norma Dean of McKinney, Texas; children, Darla Searles and her husband, Rich of Richardson, Texas and David Huck and his wife, Tracy of McKinney; grandchildren, Kyle Searles, Tyler Searles, Drew Huck, Lauren Huck, Sydney Huck, and Dylan Searles; brothers, Wayne Huck of Edwardsville, Illinois and Vernon Huck and his wife, Karla of Jackson, Missouri; sisters, Arlene Clerc and husband, Gene of Praire du Rocher, Illinois and Arneda Kimball and her husband, Denny of Valley Park, Missouri; and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment with military honors will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 P.M., Tuesday with a rosary beginning at 7:00 P.M., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
