Debbie Sedgwick, age 56, of Allen, Texas passed away Monday, December 18, 2006 in Allen. She was born November 6, 1950 in Minnesota to William and Margaret (Freeman) Braem. Although Debbie was born Minnesota, she was raised in Granby, Connecticut where she married Allyn on August 28, 1971. In 1974 she and Allyn moved to Woodland Park, Colorado and in 1988 moved to Allen, Texas. For 16 years Debbie managed the Nature Store at Heard Natural Science Museum in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, Allyn Sedgwick of Allen, Texas; son, Geoffrey Sedgwick of Allen, Texas; daughter, Jennifer S. Nelson and her husband Thor of Carrollton, Texas; granddaughter, Maddie Sedgwick; brother, William Braem and family of Coppell, Texas; sister, Janice DeLisle and family of Anna, Texas; step-mother, Barbara Braem of Southwick, Massachusetts; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Service will be held 4:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends at 3:00 PM prior to the service.
