Mr. David H. Warton, age 62 of Plano, TX, passed away September 17, 2004 at his home. He was born on March 13, 1942 in Kansas City, KS to James E. and Eleanor Hart Wharton. He attended Kansas State University receiving a MBA in 1966. He married Judy Hamman on June 11, 1966 in Garden City, KS. He served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict from 1966 to 1969. He was employed with Texas Instruments for 35 years. Mr. Wharton was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano. He is survived by his wife, Judy Wharton of Plano; sons, Craig David Wharton of Plano and Scott Michael Wharton and wife, Lori of Sugar Land, TX; daughter, Pamela Jill Wharton of Plano; father, James E. Wharton of Garden City; brother, George E. Wharton and wife, Debbie, also of Garden City; sister, Sarah Diman and husband, Al, of Independence, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Wharton is preceded in death by his mother. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 W. Spring Creek Road in Plano. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, TX. Visitation will be at 6:00 PM followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
