IN LOVING MEMORY

David A. Toarmina

Apr 28 1959 - Jul 01 2013

David A. Toarmina, of Garland, Texas, passed away on July 1, 2013 at the age of 54. He was born April 28, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, to Charles and Maryann Fehlig Toarmina. He was an amazing man, a devoted dad, a loving son, brother and uncle and the most loyal friend anyone could ask for. David was of the Catholic faith, an Attorney-at-Law by profession, a great political debater by choice, and a life-long St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Longhorn fan. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.

David passed away suddenly while vacationing in Washington State, high atop Mt. Rainier. At that moment he was living life to the fullest and enjoying another great adventure alongside his sweetheart, Danyel Moffett. We take great solace in knowing that if he had to leave this world so young that he was doing what he loved and holding his beloved Danyel's hand.

He is survived by the love of his life and best friend of 13 years, Danyel Moffett of Garland; Mother, Maryann Toarmina of Tyler; sons, C.Vincent Toarmina of Addison and Nicholas W. Toarmina of Las Colinas; sister, Dolores Eisenberg and brother-in-law, Alan Eisenberg of Terrell; sister Laura Mattheis and brother-in-law Vern Mattheis of Tyler; nephews, Adam Delaune and Anthony Delaune; and nieces, Brittany McCloskey and Hannah Toarmina, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and faithful, furry friends, Louie and Sandy.

David is preceded in death by his father, Charles C. Toarmina; brother, Ross J. Toarmina and sister, Mary Louise Toarmina.

We have no doubt that David is looking down on all of us and smiling while listening to his friends and loved ones recount larger than life tales of their times together.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
