Mr. David P. Lerry, age 75, of Plano, Texas passed away February 25, 2011. He was born on December 25, 1935, in New York City, New York to Percival and Catherine (Rennemann) Lerry. On January 25, 1958, he married Patricia Snow in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mr. Lerry proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserves. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and CUNY, spending his career at IBM and MCI. He was a lifelong volunteer, a member of the Plano Photography Club, and a volunteer at the Interurban Railway Museum as a photographer. He was also a board member at the Plano Conservancy and spent a lifetime involved with the Boy Scouts of America. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia; children, Scott Lerry and wife, Judy, Marc Lerry and partner, Doug all of New York, Karen Lerry of Plano, Texas, and Brian Lerry and wife, Susan also of New York; grandchildren, Brittany Lerry, Brandon Lerry, and Alexis Lerry all of New York; along with a host of other loving family members and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 28, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating.
