David Paul Hunt, Sr. of Wylie, Texas passed away April 2, 2014 at the age of 80. He was born June 28, 1933 to Billy David and Myrtle (Hazlerigs) Hunt in Phoenix, Arizona. David served his country proudly in the United States Army in Austria and Germany where he learned the German language. He loved to craft with wood and metal. David was an artist and was good at all he did. He enjoyed drag racing when he was younger.
David is survived by his wife Mildred Hunt of Wylie, Texas; children, Paula Cole (Bob) and their children Brian Strange and Shelly Cole of Smithfield, Virginia, David Paul Hunt, Jr. (Jerry) and their child, David Paul Hunt III (Angela) of Georgia and Jeffrey T. Hunt (Naomi) and their child, Kaytisha Hunt of California, Stacy Haag (Raymond) and her child Courtney Farrar, Roger O. Farrar, Garrett Hunt, Jarrett Hunt and Quint B. Hunt; great-grandchildren, Amelia Hunt, Ian Lee Smith, and Joyce Lynn Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Timothy Jon Hunt.
