Mr. David Lee Clark, age 78, of Allen, Texas passed away November 6, 2009, at his home. He was born on January 27, 1931, in Hana, Oklahoma to David Walcott and Ruby Cave Clark. On October 31, 1974, he married Mary Cortez in Allen, Texas. Mr. Clark proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as an Army Airborne Ranger. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Danny Clark and wife, Susan of Copeville, Texas, Elizabeth Ann Clark of Josephine, Texas, Dianna Guinn and husband, Dennis of Josephine, Texas, Gary Clark and wife, Phyllis of Naples, Texas, Kay Akin and husband, James of Carthage, Texas, Terry Maitland of Chico, Texas, Tonya Lunsford and husband, Thomas of Allen, Texas, Victor Maitland and wife, Lana of Plano, Texas, Frank Maitland and family of Allen, Texas and Nevel Maitland and family also of Allen, Texas; lots of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 12, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Brant O’Connor officiating. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
