Mr. Dave Martin, age 60, of Princeton, Texas, passed away January 3, 2008 at his residence. He was born March 6, 1947, in Delevan, Illinois, to Maynard Henry and Evelyn Roberta (Arnold) Martin. Mr. Martin was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam era. He married Suzanne Rae Howard on October 31, 1969 in Haysville, Kansas. Mr. Martin was a McKinney Concerts board member. Dave is survived by his wife, Suzanne R. Martin of Princeton, Texas; son, David Anthony Martin serving in the United States Navy aboard the USS John C. Stennis in Bremerton, Washington; daughters, Barbara Anne Mallow of Anna, Texas and Brandy Sue Russell of Allen, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother and sisters, Maynard Duane Martin, Roberta Lou Martin and Rose Marie Smith, all of Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 6, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas, with Father Harold Lowe officiating.
