Dave Lauson, age 45, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 30, 2004, at North Central Medical Center, McKinney. He was born September 24, 1959, in Evergreen Park, Chicago, Illinois to Robert and Emily (Rusnak) Lauson. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois. On October 13, 1984, he married Sue Gillis in Chicago, Illinois. Dave was a director for Nortel, where he has worked since 1990. He loved to fish and was an avid horseback rider and was a member of the National Cutting Horse Association. He was also a member of St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Sue and daughter, Melissa Lauson both of McKinney; father, Robert D. Lauson of Flossmoor, Illinois; sister, Diane Urbanick of St. Charles, Illinois; brother, Robert J. Lauson of Manhattan Beach, California; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Emily. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 1, 2004, at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church in McKinney with Father Greg Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois.
