Daryl Marie Glover Hexamer

Daryl Marie Glover Hexamer passed from this life on the 8th day of October, 2006 after a long 10-year fight with cancer. She loved life and had a great attitude in spite of having spent the past 5 years in constant intense chemotherapy. She was born on September 17, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Emil and Inez (Chapman) Modjeske who preceded her in death. Daryl transplanted to Texas for most of her adult life and it was here she met her soul mate and faithful husband of nearly 30 years, Don Hexamer. She is also survived by one sister, Marlene Winker and her husband Jim of Sioux Falls, SD, two aunts, several cousins, one niece and four nephews. She is also survived by two step-sons, Dan and Don Hexamer and their families of McKinney, Texas. Daryl was a loyal co-worker and friend to many people in the Dallas metro area having worked in Garland for several Varo divisions and held several banking positions in Dallas. She was presently employed with Bombardier Aerospace, Flexject Division in Richardson, Texas. She had a special relationship with former accounting employees of Varo Semiconductor of Garland, where she kept in touch several times a year. Daryl enjoyed reading, gardening, camping and flying. She will be missed by all who knew her and shared her life. She is now free from pain and suffering. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, October 12, 2006 at the Grove Hill Cemetery at 4118 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, Texas.
