Danny Odell Estep, age 56 of Weston, Texas passed away on December 9, 2010 in McKinney, Texas. He was born on December 21, 1953 in McKinney, Texas to Robert and Emma (Crosswhite) Estep. Danny married Rachel Lee Kirkpatrick in Nashville, Tennessee on April 9, 1988. His love of the country life, family, friends, and horses was evident in all he did. Danny worked in several Dallas auto dealers in Parts Sales for many years, most recently Ewing Buick. He operated the Weston Farm and Ranch store for seven years in his home town of Weston. He was active with the Celina FFA, helping his children raise and show animals. As a community volunteer he served on the board of the Weston Water Cooperation. He is survived by his wife, Lee Estep of Weston, Texas; son, Jason Estep and his wife, Christina of Texarkana, Texas; daughter, Rachel Estep of Weston, Texas; son, Ryan Estep of Weston, Texas; grandchildren, Bella and Kya Estep of Texarkana, Texas; sister, Kay Hodges of North Richland Hills, Texas; brother, Robbie Estep and his wife, Donna of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Brenda Tominelli and her husband, Ron of Pottsboro, Texas; several nieces and nephews and many friends. The family will receive friends during a Visitation to be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Celina, Texas on Sunday, December 12, 2010 from 2-4 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Celina with Rev. Jodi Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Celina FFA at Celina High School in Danny’s name. .
