Daniel Edward Jude was born on August 26, 1956 and passed from this life on December 30, 2007. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin with degrees in Psychology and Industrial Engineering. For the past seven years he was a passionate advocate for child safety through his diligent work as President of Security Software Systems. Dan is survived by loving parents, Bill and Bethel Jude; sister, Donna; four brothers, Mike, Pat, Tom and John. He was married for 21 wonderful, fulfilling years to Beverly. They enjoyed doing everything together from daily lunch outings to endless exploring for no reason at all. They raised three amazing children, Davis, Whitney and Kyle. Dan took much pride in guiding his children throught their education and teaching them important life lessons. For the past five years, he enjoyed spending every spare moment playing with his three grandchildren, Madi, Laila and Hudson. "Grandpa" was the most popular person in their eyes. Dan was a social butterfly and had many friends. He never met a person he didn't like and in turn everyone felt loved by Dan. When he entered a room he was the shining light to which everone gravitated. Sounds of uncontrollable laughter and joy constantly surrounded him. Dan saw the infinite goodness in everyone and always made the best of a bad situation. He was an eternal optimist. For those of us that were so very blessed to know him, we will take with us his unforgettable warm smile, his witty sense of humor, and his ability to live everday with exuberance that we longed to be around. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 4, 2008 with Father Tim Gollob Presiding at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.
