Dan Jones, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away April 29, 2013, in McKinney. Dan was born February 4, 1928, in Coleman, Texas, to John Edward and Beulah (Brewer) Jones. He married Ella Louise Caldwell on May 31, 1948, in El Paso, Texas. Dan was a machinist supervisor in the oil industry. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Louise Jones of McKinney, Texas; son , Danny Jones and wife, Regina of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Lou Ann Jones of Murphy, Texas; granddaughters, Katrina, Kassie, and Kaleigh; brother, Billy Gene Jones and wife, Robbie of Walls, Mississippi; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas at their convenience on Wednesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
