Cynthia Gayle Kimmins Hardin beloved friend and wife of Jack Hardin passed away September 8, 2009 following a six-year battle with ovarian cancer. Cynthia is survived by her husband Jack, daughter Kathy and son-in-law Scot Thomas, brother and sister-in-law Arthur and Kay deAlba, sister and brother-in-law Penny and Mike Hill, grandsons Caleb and Ian Thomas, stepson Jon T. and Teri Hardin, step-grandchildren Alec and Rachael Hardin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Kimmins and her parents, Arthur and Adeline deAlba. Cynthia was born in Houston, TX, on September 30, 1936, and was a longtime resident in the Dallas area. Cynthia and Jack currently reside in McKinney, TX. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by her family and friends. Her love of family, sense of humor, generosity, and fighting spirit will be remembered by all who knew her and loved her. Cynthia’s family finds comfort in knowing that she has found comfort and peace in Heaven. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
