IN LOVING MEMORY

Cynthia (Cindy) Lou Holloway

Jul 05 1959 - Jan 12 2008

Cynthia (Cindy) Lou Holloway was born July 5, 1959 in Denver, Colorado and passed away on January 12, 2008 in Houston, TX. She is survived by her parents, Duane and Delores Holloway of Wylie, TX; two sisters, Judy Schweikert of Dallas, TX and Pam Holloway of Richardson, TX; her grandmother, Gladys Bishop of Colorado Springs, CO; 6 uncles, 5 aunts, 2 nephews, 2 nieces and a host of friends. Cindy worked most of her career in insurance and at one point owned her own insurance agency. She then changed fields and worked in mortgage lending for several years. Cindy enjoyed life and enjoyed helping others. For several years she played bingo and coordinated bus trips to Oklahoma from both Dallas and Houston. She cooked many meals for others, was an APA pool player member and truly loved playing pool with her special friends. Her favorite place to relax was at Lake Texoma. In the last years of her life, she returned to her childhood love for Christian books and gospel music. She enjoyed Joyce Meyer’s programs on television and purchased many of her books, CDs and DVDs. She was so excited that she was chosen to be an usher at the Joyce Meyer Conference Tour of ’07 at Lakewood Church in November 2007. Cindy was devoted to spreading God’s word by routinely sending many wonderful inspirational emails of God’s love to others. Cindy will be missed by all who loved her but we all know she is now at peace in a pain free tranquil safe place. God rest her soul. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 18, 2008 at The First Baptist Church, Wylie, TX (100 N 1st Street, intersection of Hwy 78 and Ballard).
