IN LOVING MEMORY

Curtis Yeamonkoah Tomah

Jul 20 1988 - Jun 28 2013

The Tomah, Travers and Gahn families regret to announce the sudden death of their beloved son, Mr. Curtis Y. Tomah who was born on July 20, 1988. Curtis Tomah was tragically killed on June 28, 2013 when a drunk driver struck his car at high speed and fled the scene.

Curtis lived a purpose driven life and touched many lives all over the world. He will never be forgotten. He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and savior and brought several others to Christ. We are comforted in knowing that the Lord welcomed him home with open arms, saying “Well done my good and faithful servant Curtis, WELL DONE!”

He is survived by his parents, Cooper Y. Tomah and Minnie Travers Tomah and birth mother Marthalene Gahn; Siblings, Konah, Beneka, Albert, Georgia, Peter, William, Christian, Diana Mimbar, Dempster Mimbar; several uncles, aunts; grandmothers; cousins; his boss, Kathy Johnson and employees of DG Fast Channels; his devoted girlfriend Elizabeth Ironbar; his basketball family and many, many friends.

Curtis was dearly loved and will be missed immensely. In our opinion as family, Heaven must have been missing an angel and Curtis volunteered as always.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Arapaho United Methodist Church, 1400 West Arapaho Road, Richardson, Texas. An interment will follow the service at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
