Funeral services for Coy B. Flanagan, 67 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday September 17th at the First Baptist Church of Leonard. Rev. Mack Swain, Rev. Phillip Smith, Rev. Leonard Freeman and Rev. Harvey Neatherlin will officiate. Mr. Flanagan was born August 11, 1941. His parents were J.T. and Lilia Evans Flanagan. Mr. Flanagan passed away Saturday September 13th at the Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday September 16th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. Mr. Flanagan was a retired restaurant operator and a member of the Pike Baptist Church. He married Barbara Clark July 2, 1960 at Blue Ridge, Texas. He was a member of the American Bantam Association, the American Poultry Association, the Leonard Kiwanis, the Leonard Jaycees and the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Flanagan is survived by his wife: Barbara Flanagan of Leonard, Texas; his daughters: Coylene Moreland and Allecia Booher, both of Leonard, Texas.; his sisters: Faye Grounds of Ft. Worth, Texas, Mary Pitts and Dois LaGrone, both of Van Alstyene, Texas, Wanda Crehan of Ft. Worth and Delores Hutchins of Princeton, Texas; his brothers: Floyd Flanagan, Lloyd Flanagan, Kenneth (Pete) Flanagan and Robert Watson, all of Leonard, Texas; his grandchildren: Kacie Weaver, Allison, Booher, Ashley Booher, Aaron Moreland and Alexa Booher; his step-grandchildren: Erik Flores, Andrew Moreland and Michael Flores. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother (Royce Flanagan) and two sisters (Nell Nolan and Dorothy Watson).
