Mrs. Corene Nance, age 80 of Whitesboro, TX, passed away January 11, 2005 in Whitesboro. She was born October 13, 1924 in McKinney, TX to J. O. and Grace (Cottle) Reaves. On June 26, 1946, she married William B. Nance in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a retired secretary and a homemaker. Mrs. Nance was a member of the First Methodist Church in Whitesboro. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, William B. Jr. and Rachel Nance of Whitesboro and James J. and Jeanna Nance of Loveland, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Sam Murch of Baytown, TX; grandchildren, Amy Mitchell and her husband Thomas of Houston, TX, Charles Treloar of Austin, TX, William Treloar of Austin, TX, and Shawn Nance of Florida; great-grandson, Hunter Mitchell of Houston; sister, Doris Reynolds and husband, Bob of Ft. Collins, CO; and brother, Kenneth Reaves and wife Paula of Ft. Worth, TX. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Kelcie Nance; brother, Truman Reaves; and sisters, Dorothy Burleson and Louise Mitchell. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 14, 2005, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
