Mr. Cletus “Weldon” Latham, age 74, of Nevada, Texas passed away November 19, 2010, at his home. He was born on July 9, 1936, in Emory, Texas to Cletus Washington and Belvia Mae (Adams) Latham. On May 19, 1972, he married Martha Ellen Butler in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Latham was a superintendent in the concrete paving industry. He was a member of the Lake Fork Baptist Church in Alba, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Martha of Nevada; sons, Tim Latham and wife, Alice of Plano, Texas and Steve Kiser and wife, Janie of Nevada; daughter, Kim Little and husband, Merle of Merit, Texas, Sheila Cernosek and husband, John of Marble Falls, Texas and Brenda Latham of Wylie, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Don Latham and wife, Sharon of Grand Saline, Texas; and sister, Betty Coleman of Grandview, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends. His parents; and sister, Nell Shaddox preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 22, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Brother Jim Atkins officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
