Clementa Holgin Rosales

Clementa Holgin Rosales, age 89, of passed away November 9, 2009. She was born August 15, 1920 in Rule, Texas to Concepcion and Anita (Castro) Holgin. On April 7, 1944 Clementa married Felipe Rosales in Grandfield, Oklahoma. She was a member of the American Legion Post 96. She worked as a cook at various restaurants. Clementa enjoyed sewing and gardening. She was also a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She is survived by her sons, Camilo Perez and wife, Lucy of Sulphur Springs, Texas and Felipe Rosales and wife, Gloria of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Alma Garza, David Rosales, Mike Rosalez, Terri Rosalez, Gabrielle Rosalez, Belinda Perez, Robert Perez and Lucinda Rodriguez; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion and Anita Holgin; husband, Felipe Rosales; five brothers and three sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, McKinney, Texas with Father Cruz Calderon officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
