Mr. Clayton Joseph Rayome, age 82, of Allen, Texas passed away December 28, 2003, in Bonham, Texas. He was born July 7, 1921, in Green Bay, Wisconsin to Peter and Beatrice (Tester) Rayome. On September 20, 1944, he married Elsie Wesselman in Green Bay. Mr. Rayome served in the Army Air Corps and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Allen. He is survived by his sons, Jack Rayome and wife, Michelle of Dallas, Peter Rayome and wife, Cherylee of Flower Mound, Texas, Bill Rayome and wife, Mary of Seattle, Washington; grandchildren, Carson Rayome of Waco, Texas, Kyle Rayome of Seattle, Jeffery Rayome of Flower Mound, Tyler Rayome of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Matthew Rayome of Dallas and Justin Rayome of Flower Mound; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Rayome; brothers, Garth and Larry Rayome; sisters, Margaret Vand, Artis Christinsen and Beatrice Shwagger. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church with Father Tim Church officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors.
