Claudia Jacqueline Figueroa, age 40, of Wylie, Texas passed away April 15, 2010, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family. Claudia was born in Juarez, Mexico and attended Ysleta High School in El Paso, Texas. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Sgt. Paul Figueroa of the Dallas Police Department. Claudia was also a dedicated and loving mother to her 5 year old son, Pablo. She worked as a legal assistant for Dresser Inc. in Addison, Texas. She loved her family, friends and co-workers. Her passion was jewelry making and she put a sense of style in everything she did. She fought breast cancer valiantly. Claudia volunteered for clinical trials that would help other women fight breast cancer. She is survived by her husband, Paul A. Figueroa of Wylie, Texas; son, Pablo Javier Figueroa of Wylie, Texas; mother, Refugio Robles; sisters, Eunice Camacho of El Paso, Texas, Susana Ortiz of Charleston, Tennessee, Hilda Rios of Las Cruces, New Mexico; brother, Abraham Camacho of El Paso, Texas and numerous nephews and nieces that loved her very much. Her family would like to thank all her friends from Dresser, Inc., and Whistle Stop Station. Also, numerous new family friends that offered Claudia support during her battle with breast cancer. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 18, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O.
