Christe Ann Delgado Hickerson was born February 6, 1974 in Dallas, Texas to Johnny Sanchez Delgado and Linda Carol Ross Delgado. She was raised by her mother and daddy, Linda and Thomas Barragan. She married Chad Hickerson on September 17, 2002 in Farmersville, Texas. She died Friday, October 25, 2013 at her residence in Savoy, Texas at the age of 39.
Christe was an employee of the Quick Stop Food Store in Savoy. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Princeton. She was full of joy and life. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by husband, Chad Hickerson of Savoy; daughter, Jorden Hickerson of Savoy; son, Presten Hickerson of Savoy; mother, Linda Barragan of Princeton; father, Johnny Delgado of South Lake; brother, Paul Delgado of Princeton; sister, Laura Kilgore and husband Brett of McKinney; brother, W. T. Barragan of Princeton; brother, Aaron Barragan and family of Wylie; sister, Jacqueline Delgado of South Lake; grandfather, Bill Ross of Morgan; aunt, Dee Clark of Morgan; mother-in-law, Debbie Hickerson of Allen; father-in-law, Len Hickerson and wife Nancy of Princeton; brother-in-law, Kevin Hickerson of Princeton; brother-in-law, Todd Hickerson and wife Beverly of Little Elm; brother-in-law, Cory Hickerson and wife Amanda of Allen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and close girl friends. She was preceded in death by her daddy, Thomas Barragan and grandmother, Betty Ross.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Savoy, Texas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Jeremiah Orr. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery in Savoy, Texas.
Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 6-8pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Whitewright, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to a memorial fund in Christe's honor for her family at Memorial Fund for Christe Delgado Hickerson.
