Mrs. Christa Y. Jacoby, age 84, of Plano, Texas passed away March 3, 2006 in Plano, Texas. She was born December 25, 1921 in Paduchah, Texas to Horace and Daisy Dee (Apple) Williams. On January 11, 1948, she married Raymond Jacoby. She was a retired administrative assistant in the Oil & Gas industry, although to her family, her most important job was that of a homemaker. She was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church in Plano. Mrs. Jacoby is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Davis of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Kenna Coats and her husband Jeff, Lisa Haney and her husband Scott all of Allen, Texas, Layne Fletcher of Dallas, Texas and Karen Hicks and husband Rusty of Flower Mound, Texas; 11 great grandchildren; sisters: Dee Mount of San Diego, California, and Patsy Crumley of Elgin, Texas; and brother, Joe Williams of Rockport, Texas. Her husband, parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters preceded her in death. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2006 in the First United Methodist Church of Plano Chapel, 3160 E. Spring Creek Parkway with Rev. Ralph Burke and Rev. Dale Swain officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
