Mrs. Cheryl A. Johnson, age 51, of McKinney, Texas passed away December 6, 2003, at North Central Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1952, in Los Angeles, California to Henry Boyd and Ardelia (Dixon) Johnson. She was a cook for North Texas Job Corps with 12 years of service. She is survived by her husband, John Turner; children, John Elliott Turner, Jr., Renita Carter and Monique Carter all of McKinney; grandchildren, Re-Jana Walker, Kennedy Cain and Jay-Den Walker; brothers, Donald Lee Johnson of Walls, California and David Johnson of Lancaster, Texas; sister, Marva Jean Johnson of McKinney; step-daughters, Irene Jackson and Theresa Turner both of Los Angeles. Her parents; and sister, Lois Jean preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2003, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Minister Larry Jagours officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
