Chen Tse Tseng

Mr. Chen Tse Tseng, age 86, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 10, 2009, in McKinney. He was born on December 19, 1922, in Hunan, China to Chen Zhong-Wu Tseng and Qin Gu Xia Tseng. He met his wife, Yuchuan Wu in Nanking, China where they were married on November 12, 1948. Mr. Tseng was a diplomat for the Chinese government in Taiwan for 35 years and retired to the U.S. in 1983. He took care of his house and his family he was a loving and caring father, his thoughts were always of his family first. He was a very private man, but warm and compassionate. He loved opera and classical music, and his three pugs, Wilbur, Lilo and Stitchy, who were his constant companions since the passing of his wife, Yuchuan. Mr. Tseng is survived by his loving daughters, Angela Tseng, Jenny Tseng, Margarita Tseng and her husband Claude Valiquette, and Paulina Tseng; son, Carlos Tseng and his wife Jackie; grandchildren, Danielle, Ryan, Brandon, and Nicky Tseng, Karine, Jean Philippe and Anne Marie Tseng-Valiquette. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Yuchuan Wu-Tseng. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
