Charles Orby Williamson, age 74, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 19, 2011. He was born January 31, 1937 in Oliver, Georgia to D.M. Williamson and Lois (Dasher) Williamson. On January 14, 1961 he married Charlene Harvell in Celina, Texas. Charles proudly served in the United States Air Force. He grew up in Sibley, Louisiana where he graduated from high school. Charles was a quality control manager at Texas Instruments for 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking and sports. Charles especially enjoyed watching high school football and watching his grandkids play sports. He was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, Allen, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Williamson of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Tina Butler and husband, Kipp of McKinney, Texas; son, Jeffery Williamson and wife, Amy of Aubrey, Texas; grandchildren, Grayson Butler, Lleyton Butler and Liza Butler, Kyle Williamson and Ethan Williamson. He was preceded in death by his parents, D.M. and Lois Williamson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Dennis George and Rev. Lynn Cypert officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Celina, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
