Charles W. Robinson, age 93 of Prosper, Texas, passed away August 19, 2014 in McKinney, Texas. He was born February 3, 1921 in Prosper, Texas, to Charlie and Allie (Greenwood) Robinson. Charles grew up on his father’s farm west of Prosper. He later joined the United States Army serving his country during the Korean Conflict. Charles spent his working career with LTV where he also retired. He was a member of Frisco Church of Christ.
Charles is survived by his sons, Winfred Robinson and wife Nancy E. of Frisco, Texas Henry Robinson of Frisco, Texas, James Robinson and wife Karen S. of Cartwright, Oklahoma; daughter, Myra Kirby and husband Rex of Slidell, Texas. Grandchildren, Kim Jones, Karrie Roe and husband Kenneth of Long Camp, Texas, Michael Ray Chapman of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Claudia Moss of Colbert, Oklahoma, Alisia Robinson of Carrollton, Texas, Charlie Robinson of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Brian Kirby and wife Laura of Slidell, Texas and Vera Kirby of Slidell, Texas; great-grandchildren; Mattie Roe, Larit Roe, Remington Roe, Taylor Moss, Briar Moss, Caleb Kirby and Caden Kirby.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
