Charles "Chuck" Frisk

Charles “Chuck” Frisk was born July 12, 1939 in Omaha, Nebraska to Emil and Agnes Frisk and died suddenly on April 7, 2007 near his home in Celina. He received his degree in mathematics from the University of Nebraska, spent 5 years in the United States Air force serving as a transport pilot. He was awarded the Vietnam Service Medal and the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal with 2 clusters. He left the Air force with the rank of Captain. He did supplementary teaching in New York, South Carolina and the Plano Independent School District. He served as the chairman of the Water Development Committee for the 1971-1979 Capital Improvement Program for Plano. He also served as a Plano City Councilman and a Collin County Commissioner. He retired in 1999 from American Airlines after 33 years with the rank of Captain. He was a member of the Cottage Hill Methodist Church of Celina. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judy; one son, Erik Frisk and his wife Marilyn; grandsons, Foster, Austin and Porter Frisk of Celina; one sister, Karen VanGerpen of Dallas; and one brother, Robert E. Frisk of San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Chuck Frisk, Jr. A Private Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in the Cottage Hill Methodist church of Celina, Texas.
