Mr. Charles “Charlie” Henry Lee, age 90, of Nocona, Texas passed away February 28, 2008, in Nocona, Texas. Mr. Lee was born September 18, 1917, in Burlington, Iowa to Charles William and Mary (Wolf) Lee. On June 15, 1959, he married Virginia Lee in Burlington. Mr. Lee proudly served his country as an explosive handler in the U. S. Army. He worked for the State of Texas Highway Department. Mr. Lee is survived by his children, Linda Fields and husband, Greg of Melissa, Texas, Barbara Taylor of Westminster, Texas and Karen Davis and husband, Tommy of Henrietta, Texas; grandchildren, Ronda Smith, Misty Ann Woolsey, Freddy Davis, Scotty Taylor, Barbara C. Temple, Kimberley Riddle, Vincent Taylor and Patrick C. Taylor; numerous great grandchildren; niece, Carol Grubb of Mediapolas, Iowa; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia; parents; and daughter, Sandra Lee. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2008, at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas with the Rev. Dr. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
