Mrs. Charlene Ann Groves of Farmersville, Texas passed away Monday October 8, 2012 in Farmersville.
She was a loving mother, wife and friend and will be deeply missed by all.
She was born January 27, 1929 in Chillocothe, Texas. She was the daughter of Roma Charles and Lena May McDonald Harrelson. She married Thomas Edmund (Ed) Groves March 21, 1951 in Victoria,Texas. She was a librarian and school teacher in the Community Independent School District, Plano ISD and Dallas Public Library for many years and was of Episcopal Faith. She is survived by her children; Anne Bramlett and husband David of Farmersville, Texas, Laurie Coker and husband Mark of Winston Salem, North Carolina, Sally Knight and husband Byron of Melissa, Texas, Col. Bryan Groves and wife Mary of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Fergus Groves and wife Eileen of Farmesville, Texas and Margaret Kilbury and husband Shawn of Garland, Texas, daughter in law Carol Groves of Washington D.C. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son Miles Groves and her husband Ed.
