Chance Christopher Fulmer

Chance Christopher Fulmer, age 37, of McKinney, Texas, went to be with the Lord after winning his nine year battle with brain cancer on February 6, 2016. Chance was born October 29, 1978, in Denton, Texas, to James Robert and Monica (Boerner) Fulmer. He grew up in Pilot Point, Texas where he graduated from J. Earl Selz High School in 1997. Chance worked for the Kansas City Southern Railway as a locomotive engineer beginning in 2001. He married Mindy Ann Wheeler on July 9, 2004, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Chance was a diehard UT Longhorn college football fan and also enjoyed fishing. His biggest joy in life was being a Dad to his son.

He is survived by his wife, Mindy Wheeler Fulmer of McKinney, Texas; son, Caise Christopher Fulmer; loving dog and baby girl of thirteen years, Baylie; father, James Fulmer and wife, Margie of Pilot Point, Texas; sister, LaMonica Fulmer Goss and husband, John of Combine, Texas; nephew and nieces, Hunter Goss, Danielle Goss, and Abbey Goss; and mother-in-law, Becky Schultz of Gunter, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Midway Church in Pilot Point, Texas. Interment will follow at Pilot Point Cemetery in Pilot Point. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
