Cereza Delgado, age 12, of Melissa, Texas, passed away December 27, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Cereza was born January 6, 1995, in McKinney, Texas to Enrique and Esmeralda (Gonzalez) Delgado. She is survived by her mother, Esmeralda Delgado of Melissa, Texas; brother, Jose Delgado of Melissa, Texas; grandmother, Maria Gonzalez of Prosper, Texas; aunts and uncles, Rosa Slough and Bobby of Prosper, Texas, Sylvia Gonzalez of Leonard, Texas, Carmelita Heist and husband, Larry of Prosper, Texas Ernest Gonzalez and wife, Donna of Mansville, Oklahoma, Eliasar Gonzalez and wife, Mary of Searcy, Arkansas, Jesus Gonzalez, Jr. and wife, Nelda of Weston, Texas, and Lupe Gonzalez of Austin, Texas, Lupe Melindez and wife, Lupe of McKinney, Texas, Nena Larez and husband, Antonio of Garland, Texas, Maria Hinijosa and husband, Joe of Chambersville, Texas, Ester Martinez and husband, Joe of McKinney, Texas, Ramona Padron and husband, Frank of McKinney, Texas, Edward Delgado of McKinney, Texas, and Ralph Delgado also of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her father; grandfather, Jesus Gonzalez; grandmothers, Lalo and Angelita Delgado ; uncle, Ygnacio Delgado; aunt, Rosalinda Gonzalez; cousin, Roland Melindez. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, December 31, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas with Paul Michael Vacca officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 PM.
