Celia Thompson of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2008. She was born on November 16, 1920, in Pecos, Texas to Ivy and Sweetie (Miller) Wells. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wylie. She is survived by her daughter, Sue Welch and husband Gilbert of Bonham, Texas; grandchildren, Marcie and Alan Waligura of McKinney, Texas, and Nikki and Jason Waligura of Gunter, Texas; great grandchildren, Madison, Blake, and Landon; brother, Randel Wells, of Clinton, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in Oakhill Cemetery, Whitewright, Texas with Rev. Morgan Malone officiating. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas, at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and sign a register book.
