Cecil Carlos Williams, age 83, of McKinney, Texas, passed away March 20, 2015, in Carrollton, Texas. Cecil was born August 9, 1931, in Collin County, Texas, to Roy Cecil and Velma Williams. He graduated from McKinney High School in 1950. Cecil proudly served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953 in Germany. He worked at different places all over McKinney. Cecil retired from Dillard’s after fifteen years of service. He had a brilliant memory and could remember every detail. Cecil was especially good with numbers and directions. He really enjoyed his crossword puzzles and bingo.
He is survived by his sister, Gladene Scott; friends, Carroll Lokey and wife, Mary Jane, Mike Russell and wife, Neva, Bud Ward and wife, Sharon, and Bill James and wife, Kathy; and numerous other church friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2015, at Pecan Grove Cemetery in McKinney, Texas.
