Catherine Mittiga Farris, age 82 of Frisco, Texas passed away on December 2, 2009 in Frisco. She was born on October 15, 1927 in Niagara Falls, New York to Frank and Genevieve (Madia) Mittiga. Catherine was a Homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic Faith. She is survived by her husband, Carlo Farris of Frisco, Texas; daughter, Charlene Callaway and her husband, Jerry of Frisco, Texas; son, Carl J. Farris and his wife, Tammie of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Jo Jeans and her husband, Chris of McKinney, Texas, Lisa Bates and her husband, Jeff of Addison, Texas, Carl T. Farris, Jr. of Niagara Falls, New York, Ashley Farris of Niagara Falls, New York and Christopher Farris of Niagara Falls, New York; great-grandson, Wyatt Jeans of McKinney, Texas; sister, Rita Valente of Niagara Falls, New York; sister-in-law, Jeannette Willis of Niagara Falls, New York and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas with Father Vincent Anayama presiding.
