Carolyn Jean Wilson, age 80, of Celina, Texas, passed away May 7, 2015, in McKinney, Texas. Carolyn was born August 20, 1934, in Brownwood, Texas, to William Lewis and Addie Fondine (Spurlock) Beaird. She married Sidney Lee Wilson on July 19, 1959, in Austin, Texas. Carolyn worked for years at the First Baptist Academy and Trinity Christian Academy in Addison as an administrative assistant. Carolyn loved her grandchildren very much and they adored their “Monna”.
She is survived by her son, Dwight Wilson and wife, Tracie of Celina, Texas; daughter, Brenda Johnson and husband, David of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; grandchildren, Hunter Wilson and Sidney Wilson, both of Celina, Texas and Ryan Johnson and Ashley Johnson, both of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; and sister, Billie Joyce Mock and husband, Al of Princeton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Lee Wilson.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015, at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
