Carolyn Jane Clem, age 62, of Terrell, Texas passed away October 2, 2011. She was born August 15, 1949 in Paris, Texas to Weldon Wiggins and Leatrice (Bailey) Wiggins. On April 17, 1970 she married Mart Clem in Dallas, Texas. Carolyn worked for Honeywell as a quality control inspector for 25 years. She retired in October of 2008. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Clem and Margaret Clem both of Elmo, Texas; son, Mart Clem, Jr. and wife, Joann of McAllen, Texas; grandsons, Phillip Overdirth of Seagoville, Texas, Jerrell Gomez of McAllen, Texas, Wyatt Clem of McAllen, Texas, Juan Gomez III and wife, Clara of McAllen, Texas; granddaughters, Daniella Gomez of McAllen, Texas, Jenea Melanson-Gomez and husband, Donny of Vancouver, Canada; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Amber and Audrey all of McAllen, Texas mother , Leatrice Wiggins of Garland, Texas; sister, Linda Bearden and husband, Tom of Elmo, Texas; brother, Jerry Wiggins and wife, Pam of Garland, Texas; sister-in-law, Judy Wiggins of Amory, Mississippi; brothers-in-law, Charles and Donald Clem; mother-in-law, Francis Godwin and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mart Clem; father, Weldon Wiggins; two sisters, DeLois Wiggins and Beverly Luttig and one brother, Douglas Wiggins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
