Obituary for Carole Fischer Carole Rae Fischer, age 71, of Plano, Texas passed away November 4, 2007 in Plano. Carole was born February 5, 1936 in Scotland, South Dakota to Leonard Fischer and Olinda (Schoppert) Fischer. She retired from Texas Instruments after 32 years. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Pond of Mason Ohio; sons, Jim Pond and wife Faith Ann of Plano, Texas, Jeff Pond of Plano, Texas, and Troy Pond of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Carla Palmer and husband John of Dallas, Texas, Jamie Pond of St. Louis, Missouri, Torrey Pond of Dallas, Texas, Jimynda Pond of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Egan Pond of McKinney, Texas and Malcolm Pond of Plano, Texas; great-grandchildren, Hali Pond, Clare Palmer, Kate Palmer and Amanda Pond; sisters, Renee Reid of Faulkton, South Dakota and Iva Kay Nelson of Tucson, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at a later date in Scotland, South Dakota.
