Carol Diane Sorrentino, age 77 of Plano, Texas passed away April 14, 2015 in McKinney, Texas. She was born June 27, 1937 in Winstead, Connecticut to Emil and Carolyn (Parsons) Helbourg.
She is survived by her two daughters, Laura Klein and husband Mark of Allen, Texas and Angela Thibeaux and husband Ashley of Allen, Texas; son, Mark Sorrentino of Plano, Texas; eight grandchildren, Thomas Klein, Matthew Klein, Andrew Klein, Amanda Thibeaux, Amber Thibeaux, Merrissa Sorrentino , Shanna Sorrentino, and Mark Sorrentino; two great-grandchildren, Brooke Rowe and Jayden Boyd; two sisters, Barbara Helbourg of Cascade Montana and Leslee Worth of Hotchkiss, Colorado.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Legenza Sorrentino; parents, Emil and Carolyn Helbourg; sisters, Shirley Perez, Marilyn Halstead and Zeruah Fellows; brother, Peter Helbourg.
A graveside service will be held Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
