Carol Arlene Jones Concannon of Allen, Texas passed away May 29, 2017, at the age of 83. She was born April 28, 1934, to James Dowson Jones and Ethel May (Stilson) Jones in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Carol graduated from high school in Canada. She lived in California prior to making a home in Dallas, Texas. Carol married Rowland “Red” W. Concannon in November of 1981, in Lake Tahoe, California and they shared thirty-five years of marriage. She exceeded in her career with Nortel. Carol was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Rowland “Red” Concannon and children, Melissa Ramadan, Colleen Koontz, Jim Simpson, and Richard Simpson.
Carol was preceded in death by son, Donald Simpson.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 8, 2017 at The Church of Jesus Church of Latter-day Saints, 1324 W. Exchange Parkway, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
