Mrs. Carla Sue Matley, age 65, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away April 1, 2008, in Fort Worth with her daughters by her side. She was born November 24, 1942 at home in Rhea’s Mill, Texas to Carlos and Kathryn Scroggins Gentle. Mrs. Matley was a mother, homemaker, and seamstress. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She is survived by her children, Pamela LeBlanc and husband Larry, of Frederick, Maryland and Joanie Darden and husband, Toby of Fort Worth, Texas; sister, Phyllis Hamby of Prosper, Texas; sister-in-law, Jerry Ann Gentle of Plano, Texas; and aunt and uncle, Juanita and Sam Houston of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren Austin Lee LeBlanc of Frederick, Maryland, Rachel Savannah Hughes, Samantha Taylor Hughes, Lauren Nicole Hughes, Jackson Thomas Darden, Grace Anne Darden, and Deborah Katherine Darden all of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother. An open visitation will be held Wednesday, April 02, beginning at 2:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, at 12:00 PM in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Prosper. Pallbearers Cody Phillips, Craig Hamby, David Hayden, Joe Gentle, Andrew Gentle, Nick Gentle, and Ted Hughes.
