Mr. Carl Eugene LaFon, age 78, of Princeton, Texas passed away on December 29, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on February 22, 1926, in Collin County, Texas to Sie Lewis and Elsie Mae (Bowman) LaFon. He married Jean Clara Frederick on October 7, 1944, in Wylie, Texas. Mr. LaFon was a farmer and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Jean LaFon; son, James Larry LaFon; daughters, Barbara Ann Ball and husband, Donald, Sharon LaFon Perritte, and Annette Blackburn and husband Mike all of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Ronnie Dale Waller of Princeton, Texas, Cheryl Jones of Sherman, Texas and Christina Lansford of Princeton, Texas; great grandchildren, Callie Waller and Taryn Waller of Princeton, Texas; brother, Alvin LaFon; and sister, Wynona Landers both of Princeton, Texas. Mr. LaFon was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Sherrie Lynne Waller; sister, Helen Russell; and brother, Eldon Ray LaFon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 31, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Whittle officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. The family has requested no food to be brought to the home.
