Brett Kenneth Partee, age 37, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Brett was born September 25, 1972, in La Mesa, California. As he grew up, he spent his life living in California, Arizona, and Texas. He attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. Brett was a licensed paramedic who had a passion for working with kids. He enjoyed most his time serving as a former youth football and baseball coach. However, to Brett, the love he had for his wife of nine years, Katie Foster Partee, and his children was larger than any of his accomplishments. Brett is survived by his wife Katie, their two children, Tanner Austin Partee and Macy Lori-Kathleen Partee and daughter, Kennedy Shayleen Partee of Flagstaff, Arizona; his mother and stepfather, Nancy and Cliff Lewis of Fairview, Texas, his father and stepmother, Dennis and Martha Partee of Marshall, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Karen Partee of Marshall, Texas; grandmother, Nellie Louise Partee of Marshall, Texas; and many more loving family members. A funeral service will held 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Mike Rutledge officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in an educational savings account for Tanner and Macy Partee, established at Chase Bank.
