Brenda Cheryl Love, DVM, Ph.D., age 49, of Plano, Texas, passed away June 3, 2015. Brenda was born February 23, 1966, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Edaryl and Roberta (Sayers) Winningham. She graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor degree in veterinary medicine and went on to earn a Ph.D. from the University of California at Davis in veterinary microbiology. Brenda was employed with Oklahoma State University as a veterinary microbiologist.
She is survived by her son, Sage Love of Ada, Oklahoma; mother, Roberta Winningham of Farmersville, Texas; brother, Bob Winningham, also of Farmersville; niece, Jennifer Winningham of Farmersville; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Winningham.
An inurnment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
