Paul Brandon Burns, age 36, of Northampton, Massachusetts, passed away at his mother’s home in Denison, Texas, on November 2, 2008. Brandon was born July 24, 1972 in Sherman, Texas, to Lana Lumpkins and Philip Huffman. After graduating from Trenton High School in 1990, he attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas on a four year academic scholarship. As a real estate agent, he channeled his tenacity and ingenuity into creating and owning Texas Lot Buyers in Houston, Texas. Family, friends and coworkers relied on his extensive computer knowledge and kept him busy repairing and optimizing their computer networks. Brandon will be remembered for his selflessness, unending generosity, insatiable curiosity and for his love of life, travel, good food and fine wines. His undeniable love and loyalty to family and friends will be forever cherished by everyone he touched. He is survived by his mother, Lana Lumpkins of Denison, Texas; his partner of eight years, Dr. Scott Lemme of Northampton, Massachusetts; step-father, Scott Christensen; brother, Corey Wofford and wife, Stefanie of Anna, Texas; sisters, Jessica Huffman of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Erica Cillo and husband, Dr. Joseph E. Cillo, Jr. of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Erin Christensen of Van Alstyne, Texas; aunt and uncle, Glenda Key and husband, Jewel; aunt, Betty Pittman; aunt and best friend, Boba Via; mother and father-in-law, Dot and David Lemme; sister and brother-in-law, Shari Biediger and husband, Dr. Charles Biediger; nieces, Devon, Avery, Emma, Mary and Erin; nephews, William and Marcus; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Huffman and his mamaw, Myrtle Lumpkins. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, November 7, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Andrew Werley officiating. Everyone is invited to attend a reception, immediately following the service, at First Baptist Church of Anna, Texas.
