Brady Faith Hicks, age 87, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 10, 2013. He was born June 10, 1925 in Monroe, Arkansas to Haley Hicks and Valley (Young) Hicks. On May 13, 1961 he married Freida Sorrels in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Brady grew up in Arkansas. He worked at the Cotton Mill. Brady enjoyed playing cards, watching wrestling and boxing.
He is survived by his wife, Freida Hicks of McKinney, Texas; sons, Dennis Hicks and wife, Cindy and Kenneth Hicks; daughters, Betsy Navarro and husband, Arnulfo, Sandra Kay Hicks and Judy Ann Loyd; grandchildren, Charlotte Hicks, Susie Hicks, Christy Hicks, Bonnie Henderson, Joshua Hicks, Brittan Navarro, Maddison Navarro, Phillip Martin, Mellisa Kelly, Wally Ray Sorrels, Elizabeth Navarro, Junior Navarro and Thomas Navarro; great-grandchild, Caleb Kelly; sisters, Neoma Hicks-Warren and Evie Dean Hicks and brother, Dois Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Haley and Valley Hicks; daughters, Ruth Hicks and Leisa Hicks; sons, Raymond Sorrels and Thomas Hicks.
Gravesides services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
